bonjour tout le monde

do we speak french? stan (c’est moi) has been studying for the past two years but is a slow learner! i’ve attended alliance française and ubc language studies as well as a summer intensive course at ubc. can’t say it has all been wasted, but definately a struggle! i’ve also been using an excellent podcast from england that has been remarkably helpful. coffee break french on radio lingua a very good podcast that you can download to itunes or to your mp3 player or computer. they include some videos and a lesson sheet (pdf). the basic is free and quite complete but for a few dollars you get the odd video, the basic and an extra lesson that goes into more depth. each lesson is about 20 minutes and i very much recommend it if your interested in this method of learning french (they have other languages too)
…almost forgot. i’m registered to take classes twice a week while in paris!
